The Vincennes YMCA is a not-for-profit membership organization committed to helping people grow in spirit, mind and body. The YMCA is here to serve people of all ages, races, religions, abilities and incomes. The Y is community-based and believes that its programs and services should be availalbe to everyone.
It is our pledge, within the available resources of the YMCA, to provide services to youth regardless of ability to pay. Adults may be considered for assistance on an individual basis. Financial assistance forms are available at the front desk or you may click on the link to download:

Q: Who is eligible for financial assistance?
A: Local residents who fall within our sliding income scale.
Q: How is the amount I pay determined?
A: Financial assistance is based on income and number of dependents in a household.
Q: How do I apply?
A: Obtain an application at the YMCA or online. Fill out the application completely and turn it in, with all financial verification, at the YMCA front desk. You may also mail the application to the Y.
Q: When will I hear back?
A: It takes approximately two weeks to process applications. Notification is sent by mail.
Q: Can I receive financial assistance for YMCA programs?
A: Financial assistance is available for most youth programs. Typically, financial assistance for program fees is reserved for youth; as well, a portion of the program fees must be paid by the applicant. |
