For Youth Development: Afterschool Care

When kids participate in the Y’s Afterschool Care program, parents know their children have a safe, nurturing place to stay when school lets out for the day. Transportation is provided for children in Afterschool Care from the Vincennes Community and South Knox schools, and is open until 6pm each weekday evening. Afterschool Care is provided for kids in Kindergarten through 5th grade, snacks and homework help are provided. Kids will learn, play and stay safe all school year in Afterschool Care, plus they will automatically be enrolled in All Day Care when school is out for break. For Social Responsibility: FREE Health Screenings

Join us on Monday, August 7 from 4:30pm-6:00pm for free health screenings by Good Samaritan Hospital. Screenings will include Pulse Oximeter and Tobacco Education. The screenings will be held in the Y lobby and are FREE for everyone.

 For Healthy Living: Have you tried Pickleball?

Pickball is game that combines badminton, ping-pong and tennis into a fun activity for all ages. Open play time is Monday through Saturday from 9am-11am and Monday through Friday 6:30pm-8:30pm. This game is a great activity for any age – children to older adults will enjoy the competition on a smaller court. The Y has 2 courts available with equipment available at the front desk.  For All: Y Membership

When you become a member of the Y, you join a special organization. The Y is a charity, non-profit organization, which works to strengthen our community by focusing on the areas of youth development, healthy living and social reasonability. The Y offers group exercise, with child care available, water fitness classes, state-of-the-art equipment in our Wellness Center, 2 gymnasiums, personal training, and so much more. Older Adults Thrive at the Y

At the Y, we believe in creating programs that build healthy body, mind and spirit, especially for older adults. The Y has a variety of activities to keep you active, whether it is social time at the senior center, enjoying a hot, nutritious lunch, enjoying day trips with friends, participating in a group fitness class for especially for older adults, or enjoying our indoor track and Wellness Center. Financial assistance is available, and you may qualify for a free membership through your insurance.

Group Fitness Classes

Join us for a group fitness class. We have a variety of classes to fit your desire and all fitness levels welcome. Land and water based classes are available throughout the weekdays. From Aquacise to Yoga, we have a class to fit your needs, plus child care is available during classes.
