What is happening at our Y!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING! The Y will be open from 6am-10am Thanksgiving Day. Our Bettye J. McCormick Senior Center and VanGo will be CLOSED.

Activate More Than Your Core

When you become a member of the YMCA, you become part of a special organization that does more than offer exercise classes. We help keep our children safe around water with our free 3rd Grade Water Safety class. Seniors have many opportunities to stay active and enjoy social interaction with friends through $1 lunches at our Bettye J. McCormick Senior Center and EnhanceFitness classes. Families have a place to have fun and be active, strengthening their bond through playing basketball, Pickleball or swimming together. And, because we are a non-profit charity, we ensure that everyone, regardless of financial status has the same opportunities at our Y through our financial assistance program. There are so many reasons to Activate More Than Your Core at our Y. Come by for a tour and learn how we offer more! YMCA of Vincennes, 2010 College Avenue, Vincennes

Join us January 1-6 for a TRY THE Y week, free for everyone! And Open House January 7 where we will waive the joiner fee!

For Social Responsibility: Ways to Give

Strengthening our community is what we do at our Y. During this holiday season, we have a few opportunities for you and your family give to those less fortunate. Please be as generous as you can during this season of giving.

-Marine Corps Toys for Tots Collection Site – Purchase a new, unwrapped toy(s) to place in our boxes in the lobby.

-Food Drive for St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry – Their food pantry is in need of non-perishable food items to fill the shelves. Collection bins will be in the lobby.

-American Red Cross Blood Drive – Give the gift of life by donating blood at our blood drive on Friday, December 29 from 11am-4pm.
