What’s Happening at our Y!

For Youth Development: Pee Wee Indoor Soccer

Registration is underway for our Pee Wee Indoor Soccer program for kids ages 3-5 years old. Games will be played on Saturdays and will teach them the fundamentals of the game, plus the importance of teamwork. Register at the Y before September 1 or online at vincennesymca.org. Financial assistance is available.

 

Mud Run!

Join us on September 8 for our annual Mud Run with partner, German American Bank. This is a FREE event for kids from 3-15. Kids will enjoy a mud and obstacle course run with lunch and snacks. Registration is required and can be completed the day of the event or before at the Y. Forms can be found on our website at vincennesymca.org. The first 100 kids to register will receive a FREE t-shirt too!

 

For Healthy Living: Adult Sports Leagues

Gather your friends and co-workers for fun and friendly competition in our adult sport leagues.  League play will begin October 7 with team registration ending on September 23. We are currently registering for our:

Adult Basketball

Co-Ed Adult Volleyball

Team registrations must be filled out on the registration form found online or at the front desk.

 

Celebrate with Us!

For Youth Development: Afterschool Care

When kids participate in the Y’s Afterschool Care program, parents know their children have a safe, nurturing place to stay when school lets out for the day. Transportation is provided for children in Afterschool Care from the Vincennes Community and South Knox schools, and is open until 6pm each weekday evening. Afterschool Care is provided for kids in Kindergarten through 5th grade, snacks and homework help are provided. Kids will learn, play and stay safe all school year in Afterschool Care, plus they will automatically be enrolled in All Day Care when school is out for break.
